ABOUT THE ARTIST

RAY BRILLI

Awarded Artist

Ray Brilli was born in Queens, New York. Ray attended the HS of Art & Design, Hunter College and the School Of Visual Arts where he studied fine art, color theory and graphic design. He then worked many years as a graphic artist for various ad agencies in New York City. It was the structured, tight regimen of commercial art during the day that led Ray to develop a bright, spontaneous and impressionistic style to his painting. Ray has returned many times to his parent’s birthplace, Venice, Italy for inspiration in his art.
